An exciting opportunity exists to join a leading boutique IT services company as a IT Support Officer, servicing a diverse range of clients across the local government and private sectors.

Based in East Fremantle, Ocean IT prides itself in the implementation of best practice corporate IT standards.

We design and implement server and network solutions, as well as offer various consulting and specialist IT services.

Through our emerging managed services division called Managed IT, we proactively maintain client systems to ensure maximum stability and availability.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Additionally, Ocean IT will encourage and support continued skill development. The successful applicant will require a motor vehicle.

The Position:

Reporting to the Service Manager, we seek a professional, motivated individual to support our customer networks. A passion for providing excellent customer service and support standards is essential.

The position will involve some project work associated with upgrade and/or implementation of new networks as well as responsibilities related to the further development of our premier Managed Services platform.
Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be committed to keeping their skills up to date. A passion for technology and innovation is an absolute must.

You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, be responsive and attuned to the needs of our customers and present yourself in a professional corporate manner.

To successfully undertake the role, applicants should have significant industry knowledge and practical experience with a wide range of hardware, operating systems and software.

Essential requirements:

Technical
  • 2003 MCP certification
  • Strong hardware & software troubleshooting skills
